Technically it is available 24/7. If you attempt this cache during regular business hours the difficulty level goes up to 4+. A wise (or at least fairly observant) person once said, "The only thing constant is change". This is the second in our series of caches hidden in places that have undergone a major transformation.
The area where this cache is placed is the former site of the Armadillo World Headquarters. This music venue, beer garden, skating rink and entertainment complex has been credited by many Austinites as planting the seed that made Austin the "Live Music Capital of the World". Since the closing of the Armadillo on New Year's Eve 1981, this property has undergone several owners including a bank and a radio station. It is currently the City of Austin building permit and code enforcement office. I'm not quite sure but I think there may be some irony in there some where.
