The location overlooks the bay and you can watch the fishing and
sailboats breeze by as you hunt for this treasure. Please take care
in walking along the sea wall - don't fall in!
|
Kid Friendly - The Little Ones will like this one as you
have a very good chance of seeing a fishing boat or some pleasure
craft roll through |
|
Lunchtime Cache - Should be a quick 'in and out' if you
work near the Atlantic Beach area. |
|
Available Year-Round - This cache is accessible any time
of year. Be careful in the winter, however, because the wood may be
slippery. |
|
Less Than 500 ft. From Car To Cache - Parking is
accessible almost right to the cache. Please be appreciative of the
fact that it's a residential neighborhood though. |
|
Dangerous Area/Use Caution - Be careful not to fall off
the seawall, especially during high-tide. |
|
Accessible in Winter - As stated before, this is a year
round cache! |
|
Scenic View - Nice view of the water and the Atlantic
Beach Bridge |
|
Beware of Muggles! - The cache is located right off a
residential area and there have been some curious eyes every once
in a while |
|
Park 'n Grab - This should be an easy Cache &
Dash, assuming no stealth is needed due to Muggles. |
|
The treasure consists of the following:
- A logbook
- Two dice
- A 9V battery
The cache is housed in a small Lock-n-Lock container and a log
and pencil are also included.
Consult the clues below if you're having a hard time.
THANKS TO CacheBina WHO ORIGINALLY SET UP THIS CACHE AND
THANKS TO LBSurfer WHO WAS THE FIRST TO ADOPT THIS CACHE. Happy
Caching!
PS - PLEASE BE SURE TO RE-HIDE THE CACHE WELL. IT CAN BE
EASILY SEEN BY MUGGLES!
NEW CACHE PLACED 10/07. Old hint: Look for the yellow X'es on 2
pilings. Your treasure is buried (shallow) right between, set back
near the fence (look for a yellow mark on the wood).
