Another cache located along the well-groomed paths in East River Valley Park. Parking is at Carr's Swimming Pool and then proceed over the bridge to the East Park. I have placed some other caches along the trails to take you along the whole trail system. Distance to this cache is about one mile from parking. Please bring a pen or pencil! Cache is a 4" long tube. Not too hard to find.
Many people use this area for walking, running, and dog walking. Please watch for muggles. Enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding areas. During the summer there will be a lot of ground cover off of the trail, which will include poison ivy, itchweed, and in some areas, small thorny plants. During the winter months, there are maintained cross country skiing trails on the eastern edges of the park. Enjoy lots of berries along the west side of the tall grass area and enjoy the shaded trail system during the leafy months.
