Geocache Description:

Here’s another of my Dog Walk caches! ie I was walking the dog around here, and both the dog and I enjoyed it so much, we decided to plant a cache here. There’s nice views of the valley, a disused railway station (well, Tuggeranong siding), a pine forest, and plenty more. (And the dog say’s there’s plenty of sniffs – it seems to be a popular dog walking area).

This is a single offset multicache. It is near the seldomly used rail line to Michelago and beyond. You don’t need to cross the railway line, but if you are taking geokids or geohounds, keep an eye on them! The line is occasionally used (by an old steam train, or diesel locomotive) as a tourist attraction! Also – beware – the gate at the highway can be closed & locked without notice! So be cautious before driving your car in there! (I think the Paintballers control it!)

At the start, find a 7 digit number whose 3rd digit is a 7 and last digit 3. (I’ll call it A). Now calculate:
B= 18A + 20A/483 + 377A/146811.

To find the cache, substitute the first 4 digits of B as the last four digits of the south coordinate, and substitute the last four digits of B as the last four digits of the east coordinate. The cache should now be in a north westerly direction!
