SH04 Devils Pulpit Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Makuta Teridax: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Due to lack of response from the owner, this cache is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,
Makuta Teridax

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Djevelens prekestol / Nuggerudsteinen / Bjørnåsen

This cache gives you the opportunity to climb the largest block of stone in Østmarka. It is situated on Bjørnåsen with a nice view. The view from the top of the rock is particularly nice. A small ladder is on site to help you climb the rock. The ladder is now gone, but it is possible to use the adjoining trees to help scale the rock.

The cache container is a small green water proof match container. It is screwed on / fastened to some object. To retrieve the container hold the lid firmly, and unscrew the container body. Not much room for trading.

If you don't want to risk not finding the *** hide, spoiler pics have been added which effectively makes it a * cache. However most cachers should be able to find it easily using only the supplied hints.

Nuggerudsteinen was a Kjentmannspost 1994-1996.

Thanks to 1538Moss for asking me if I knew where this rock is. ( And thus started me researching and finding it. )
