Wander about the Park while seeking this cache. Its a rather interesting place. Didn't realize it beforehand, but this park is supposed to be the oldest one in the linn county system.
Park in one of the visitor parking areas, proceed past the camping areas, and into the off leash area (just keep following the road).

From the wave of sand in the lower edge of the campground, its pretty obvious that this area flooded like many areas this spring/summer. So I picked a spot that was in the woods, but about as far from the creek as you can go. Oh, and it smells pretty nice too :D.
