Cache at a viewpoint with a wonderful view of Hoekwil and
surrounds. Take the old George/ Knysna road from Hoewil to
Karatara. Turn into the Bergplaas platation road at the Woodville
Trading store. proceed up the hill on a good dirt road and enjoy
the view and fynbos smells. You can even see edgefield to your
left.
Initial cache contents are:
- coins
- motorbike
- candle
- pebble
- watersquirt
- butterfly
Please take note that although the owner of this
cache stays some distance from the cache, special arrangements have
been made to maintain the cache, should it be necessary. Fellow
cachers, friends and family in the vicinity will do the honours.
Cache placements in South Africa are minimal related to the number
of cachers playing the treasure hunt game especially in the Garden
Route area. We will be placing at least 27 caches during this
December 2006 holiday season – so watch this space. This is number
