Giant Springs State Park is one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. We originally planned to get married on the hill above the Spring and have our reception there as well. Bring a picnic, bring your camera, bring some nickels for the fish hatchery fish feeders!
That plan didn't work out but we always visit this spot when in Great Falls, MT anyway. There is the Giant Springs to visit- the largest Freshwater Spring in the US- a fish hatchery and visitors center and the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. This cache is hidden along the trail between the Giant Springs and the Interp. Center. But to find it you will have to visit 3 other spots nearby. The container is a decon container, about the size of a crayon box (24 count), and it has a little room for trade items.
There is a $5 charge for non-residents to visit this park. The state has a nice page about what types of services are offered here: Click here for site We have permission from the State Park for this cache to be placed here- they were a pleasure to work with.
Please see the Additional Waypoints area below for the multi steps.
To find the final cache - a decon container - you will need to go to:
47*WS.G(C+M)R
111*YZ.T(J+L)K
NOTE: Please make sure you get the lid to the container back on completely to keep the contents dry. Thank you.
