Located on state land and only accessible from the North Platte River. The cache is surrounded by private lands and the only legal access is from the river. To reach the cache you will have to climb up a considerable distance in loose rock and gravel. This looks like good snake country so be on the look as you head up to find the cache. We didn't find or see any as we set the cache but heads up.
This cache is a collector pin only cache. Examples (Collector pins of any type but please only take as many pins as you leave. Pro athletic teams, school pins, state pins, olympic pins, Outback restaurant pins are just a few examples. Any type of pin will work. There are approximately 15 pins in the cache. The container is a King B Beef Jerky container wrapped in duct tape. Inside is a Red Cross container that holds the pins and the travel bug "China Doll" who is trying to make it's way to China and back to the USA. Please help her on the long journey ahead. A camera is included in the cache so please take a photo of yourself and your party upon locating the cache. The view from the cache is breathtaking. Take time and enjoy before you hike back to the river. The trout fishing should be excellent once the temperature heads down for the end of summer
