Saratoga Creek Overlook #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

You have a good view of Saratoga Creek from a vantage point near the cache.

Saratoga Creek is about 25 miles long. It begins as McElroy Creek at the top of Mt. McPherson (Mt. Bielawski), 3,231 feet. It turns into Saratoga Creek at the Saratoga Springs Resort. It follows Highway 9, Saratoga Avenue, and Lawrence Expressway, then passes through Central Park in Santa Clara and flows into San Tomas Aquino Creek, the Guadalupe Slough and finally into San Francisco Bay. The cache is located near the Creek, but you do not have to go down to locate it. Stay on level land and high ground. The Creek can have a lot of water flowing in it at times and can be dangerous. There is also a busy street nearby. Watch your children if they are with you. A nearby parking lot will give good access. There is also a nice, large park for a picnic or stroll. The cache is located in a very busy area and will take some stealth. Night cachers may find it easier. For the First to Find there is a special glow-in-the-dark Celtic Spiral sig item. For the second and third to find there is a standard Celtic Spiral sig item.

Be sure that you return the cache to it's location exactly as it was removed or it will become disabled (I know Kaiser is across the street).
