Geocache Description:

In this cache I have provided copies of a leaflet containing details of points of interest and a map of the walk.
I suggest you start from here, collect a leaflet and do the walk anti-clockwise as this gives the best views.

Please return leaflets to the cache on completion, so others can use them, thank you.

To celebrate the Millennium the villagers of Chailey laid out a
circular walk linking North and South Chailey which this series
follows, passing through farmland, heathland, woodland and giving
extensive views across Sussex and the Downs.

The total distance is about 6 1/2 miles.

The walk is generally well waymarked and I have tried to place the
caches in positions that makes it obvious the way to follow.

There are some short sections along lanes/roads and some busy roads
to cross so please take great care, especially if you have children
and/or animals with you.

Some of the footpaths can be muddy at all times of the year so please wear suitable footwear

There is parking available in laybys either side of the road or Chailey Sports Ground. N50 58.353 W000 01.32

Maintenance of series completed 16 April 2011.
Many Wood Anemones and Primroses to be seen.
Bluebells are just coming into their own and should be great in a few days.
Enjoy.
