Bill Hunter Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Geologo: I'm shutting this one down. The cache is missing and the area out front where one could park temporarily now has a bus stop sign. The park is still there, but visiting the cache would now require parking a distance away and crossing some very busy roads. It just ain't worth it. Geologo

Geocache Description:

The park is adjacent to Clifton Lane.

Every community park should have a cache. Therefore, I have created one for the very tiny park in Belfair named after our former County Commissioner, Bill Hunter.

The cache container is a pill bottle wrapped in camo tape. I changed it to a micro because the original container had been plundered. This is a very busy area and I think it would be just a matter of time before it got plundered again.

The park serves as the local bus stop, so if it's busy (It probably won't be), you may want to consider parking across the street. There's a crosswalk for your convenience, but be careful, anyway, because of the traffic.

The park has a little shelter for those waiting to catch a bus and it has two picnic tables.

Bring your own writing instrument.
