This cache is only a short hike from parking, on a nice wide trail. Sounds easy enough, right? However, don’t be surprised if this one leaves you in a quandary. The coordinates will take you to an “intersection” of sorts.
There are signs all around with arrows letting you know where the “Knoll Trail,” “Parvin Lake Trail,” and the “Long Trail” head. To make things even more confusing, there are markers indicating where to go to follow the Blue, Red, Green, or Orange Trails. While you are planning which trail to take for the rest of your adventures you can pick up a cache; or can you?
This cache is small, with no room for trade items. You will need to bring a pen or pencil to log your find. There is no need to bushwhack or get near any thorns to make this grab. Please do not tear up the area while seeking this cache.
Your biggest problem will be stealth. On the day we placed this no less than a dozen people passed by in less than half an hour. So, make sure and come up with some good innocent looking activity while contemplating this head scratching hide!
