KiwiGary: The English end of the Worm Hole was destroyed by patrolling Orcs, so we have to close the worm hole until times in middle earth have returned to normal.

Geocache Description:

Wormhole to the Shire
"Using the power of the elves a portal
has been wrought using the very fires of Mordor..."

A simple cache with a hidden power
Simply place any TBs that need to be transported to The shire in this container and they will be passed through wormhole to the sister cache in the shire of Buckland (Now called Buckinghamshire in the country of England).

Mini Hobbit

Rules for Hobbits*:

  • Place your TB in the OUT box in the cache container – some TB's could be incoming. You are free to move TBs in the main cache container.
  • Only small TB's and coins. Bricks are right out! If it doesnt fit in the inner box it's too big!
  • Due to the nature of the space time continuum the transport may not occur immediately.
  • The mordor orcs hold no responsibility for TBs lost in the Vortex
  • Please ensure that the TB owner does not mind you transporting the TB in this way before you leave it in the cache if the cache owner has not given permission for the transfer within 7 days, we will move the tb into the main cache container and not pass them through the Wormhole..
  • Please email the cache owner when you have left a TB for transportation, so that they can activate the Wormhole
  • You are welcome to trade and drop stuff in this cache – TB's only will be transported, we wont send any normal trading items which could cause a time paradox. – cache has a standard log; Please log your tbs in and out.

Help with Hobbits with navigation units from the first age of man

You will see an old fallen tree, to the right of the track ( See Picture 1).

Walk a wee way down the trail, and on the left you will spot a small three-trunk tree ( See Picture 2).

Behind this you will spot the location of your treasure at about eight man sized paces( See Picture 3). Good luck and watch out for Orc’s on the trail.
