From Aberfoyle (A821) follow the Dukes Pass north. At the head of Loch Achray, just beyond the Achray Hotel, there is a car park on the left hand side. Follow the blue trail through the forest, which will take you to the tree line. After that it is bare hillside. The first 50m after that is muddy, unless frozen. Good footwear and clothing are essential. This can be avoided if the Ledard Farm route is taken, although longer.
The cache (0.5L lock container) is near trig point on the Loch Katrine side. It contains 2 soldiers, protractor, joker card, tammy key ring, a saltire supermarket trolley token/keyring. There is a camera to record your achievement. We will remove and process in due course. It took us 5 hours with lunch and a rest. In the winter time it is recommended to add an extra 50% re time.
