This is a replacement cache for the archived Francis St Park cache. New container, new coordinates, new name, same park.
Francis St Park is a small park along the Waterfront Trail about ½ mile from the city pier and ferry terminal. Parking is also available at the park at the north end of Francis St. Great views of Port Angeles harbor and the straits await you.
You’ll be looking for a micro container near a dedication plaque for emergency service workers. This plaque was placed here to acknowledge the efforts of local firefighters, law enforcement, and emergency medical workers. Since I originally placed this cache a monument dedicated to those who lost their lives during the 9-11 terrorist attack in New York.
NOTE: This is a one star terrain rated cache. It is wheelchair accessible. There is no need to go into the bushes or to bushwhack to retrieve this cache.
