Geocache Description:

How comfortable are you with different number types?

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!!! These coordinates are only listed to acknowledge that the cache is placed in the Casper, WY area. The cache IS within 2 miles of the bogus coordinates, but otherwise may not have anything to do with them. Following the bogus coordinates will only frustrate you and waste your time. Now, with that out of the way, the proper coordinates for the cache are at: N 42 AB.CDE W 106 FG.HIJ Each letter represents one digit. I have grouped the ten digits into five two-digit numbers as follows: AF, BG, CH, DI, and EJ. Zeros are used as placeholders to make a one-digit number a two-digit number. As an example, 1 would be represented as 01 in two-digit format. The following six statements about these five numbers are all true. Use deductive logic and knowledge about numerology to determine the final coordinates. No heavy math is required to solve for the coordinates, just persistance, logical thinking, and a willingness to learn something about numbers. Statement I: The only odious number in the group is DI. Statement II: Adding the digits of EJ will reveal a powerful number of the Fibonacci Sequence. Statement III: The only number in the group that vanishes completely when added to itself is CH. Statement IV: BG is a proper factor of DI. Statement V: The sum of DI and CH is greater than the sum of BG and EJ, which in turn is greater than AF. Statement VI: The only Lucas Prime number in the group is BG. I highly recommend that you check your accuraccy with us before seeking the cache. This is recommended for three reasons: 1. Everything should resolve to only one logical location, but on the off chance it does not, I do not wish for cachers to search in an unsafe area where no cache exists. 2. At this time I will be able to inform you of what conditions you may encounter on the way to the cache and what equipment you may wish to bring along to assist your journey. The terrain is not ideal for everyone. 3. I can recommend proper parking areas from which to approach the cache. Once again, we do not wish people to be trespassing on unsafe or private property. Good luck and have fun!
