Geocache Description:

A drive up and grab.  In the County of Hawaii park next to Nui Village Loop.

When I first arrived on the Big Island in 1975, O'okala was a thriving sugar cane community with a running mill, plantation camps, a county park with a gym, and so on.  Then came the end of sugar in Hawaii, and now the mill lies in ruins.  The camps are still there, but the gym has closed and the baseball field is just a field.  The park is still there, though.  The cache is not located in or near the gym or private property.

Original contents: Log, pen, Travel Bug, wooden nickel, Where's George dollar bill.
