Come and celebrate the season with the MBGA! Join us for a
potluck dinner at the posted co-ords on December 27, 2006
from 5-10 pm!
To quote Dragonfreys, "A good potluck rule of thumb is to bring
enough in the dish to feed your family if that is all they ate.
Many people attempt to feed the whole group and you end up with way
too much food. The fun thing about potlucks is you never really
know what is going to be there, but usually works out to be quite a
variety. Also be prepared to list ingredients as required for those
who suffer food allergies" Main meat dishes will be provided by the
MBGA committee but everything else is free game whether it be
appetizer, side dish, dessert, you name it. However, we want to
know what you are going to be bringing. In fact, we must know. We
also want you to be able to see what is going to be there. Please
submit your food choice to us by Dec 23 by visiting the food
submission page on the MBGA site here: Potluck Form
To see what everyone else is bringing visit the list at:Potluck Food List
You can change your submision as many times as you want, we just
don't want to have 10 of the same thing.
We will also be holding a gift exchange. You may sign up at the
Potluck Form. It is totally optional and the limit is $10
maximum.
There will be a collection plate to pay for extraneous expenses
and a door prize or two. Donations for prizes are welcome. Please
contact the cache owner. The MBGA thanks you!
Our venue has two ovens for heating/re-heating of food and is
equipped with all the amenities including a kids area. Kids games
will be provided if kids are attending. As well as submitting your
food choices to the above links, please post a Will Attend
here on the cache page with the number in your party and do add it
to your watchlist in case of changes. Volunteers for setup and
clean-up would be most appreciated. After all, many hands make
light work! If you wish to help out, please state so in your log or
contact the cache owner.
Hope to see you all there to talk some cache, our favorite
topic!
