Welcome to the Myst Island cache. To get there, you will need to know a few facts from the popular computer game of Myst. First, here is some help with the math. The math for this cache is addition or subtraction. However, you only work in one column to add or subtract, and you will not need to carry numbers to the next column. You will only need to count from 0-9 and back. Here is what I mean: 7 + 6 = 3 not 13; 2 – 7 = 5 not negative 5.
The cache is located at Lake Poway. We’ll let you decide where to park. The hike is fairly long and mostly uphill. We recommend two water bottles per person. Hiking shoes are a plus. Sneakers will slip and slide. You might want to leave the little ones on the play ground while you venture out to the cache site. No bushwhacking required.

• Add the number of Marker Switches on Myst Island to X.
• Add the number of brothers in the story to Y.
• Subtract the value placed in the Dimensional Imager to see the “Water Turbulent Pool” from CD.
• Subtract the number of ages in Myst from E.
Perform the math on the provided coordinates at the top of this page for the Myst Island cache and venture out. We hope this becomes the first leg of a future six legged cache through the ages of Myst. We hope to see you in Dunny over the coming months!
