A 2 stage cache, involving some simple calculations at the 1st stop. PUZZLE UPDATED AGAIN IN JUNE 2015- AS THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE BUTTERFLIES AGAIN!
Visit the home of Kiwiana. A walk down both sides of the main street is also a trip down memory lane for most cachers. Step back to yesteryear; stop by at the window displays in the shops and enjoy the memories they conjure up.... Now, stop at the listed waypoint, just around the corner from the main street, and notice the friends of Butterfly Lady grouping together.... Count them in total (note that even if vandalised, there should be a plaque for each one, so the number should not change.) Call this total number "A". That is the easy bit sorted out..... Note that all of Butterfly's friends have black wings - and each has two other colours - Small dots of one colour, each grouped together near the top AND larger shapes forming the main colour group. B = the number of friends that are yellow with blue dots C = the number of friends that are pink with orange dots. D = the number of friends that are yellow with purple dots E = the number of friends that are blue with green dots. F = the sum of B and E. To the listed waypoint add the following calculations to the last three digits (decimals) NOTE - THIS WAS UPDATED IN JUNE 2015 TO MATCH CHANGES TO THE COLLECTION OF FRIENDS South Waypont + A + D + E + C East Waypoint + (A*4) + B + F Final cache is located on a short walkway, less than half a kilometre away. It is a 1 litre sistema camoflagued container, containing a number of themed swaps. Please exercise caution at final cache location, as although it is not in the open, muggles use this walkway often as a shortcut. And BTW - if you spot any of Butterfly's friends, do please mention in your log...
