Geocache Description:

07-07-07 @ 07:07:07

We have a fascination with unusual dates. We were supposed to get married on 02-02-02, but with the events of 09-11-01 (and being a military family) we had to speed things up a bit and were not able to take the plunge on that special date.

Our Se7en Year, Se7en Month, Se7en Day, Se7en Hour, Se7en Minute, and Se7en Second mission began in 2005 when we decided to hold an event called 05-05-05 @ 05:05:05 to determine which cachers were so crazed and hungry for geocaching that they would come and join us that early in the morning. It was more than we could have imagined! We had almost 50 fellow cachers attend. The following year, 06-06-06 @ 06:06:06 was just as much fun and we had over 60 people attend that event…therefore, we just KNEW that the “All About the Numbers” event series needed to live on!

We are inviting all of you to join us once again for a geocacher greet, meet, and eat! And, if it's all about the SE7ENS this year, then it has to take place at 07:07:07 in the morning!! This event will certainly cater to cachers who love an early start to a great day of caching!! The bonus for this year? It happens to be on a Saturday!! There is NO reason that we can’t exceed our 77 Cachers-In-Attendence goal!!

We have even given it "Se7en" Stars (3.5 for difficulty and 3.5 for terrain) for those who will have difficulty passing up this event, and for those that like to sleep-in a little bit on the weekends. Come on, don't be shy, this will be a great kickoff for a weekend of caching. However, for those unfortunate few who might have to go to work, try these on your boss and join everyone for an after-event cache-a-thon!!

Just like the past years, we are on the lookout for creative cache containers and creative hide ideas. Last year we had numerous inventive and imaginative containers at our event and we are eager to see what this year will bring! In that vein, a contest ensues...

Most Creative Geocache Container.

Put your noggin to work and get creative. Bring your coolest geocache container. The only rule is this has to be a useable geocache container, and we should all expect to see it placed soon after the event! The winner will be decided by YOUR VOTES shortly after 07:07:07. Prizes will be awarded for First, Second, and Third place finishers…you just have to play to win!

To claim this event cache, you will need to make your way to the above coordinates and sign the logbook by 07:00. This will ensure that we can all be together to celebrate 07:07:07. We hope you will stay for breakfast!

“Bug Exchanges” are always welcome. If you are bringing travel bugs to trade, please have their Bug Page printed and included, so their goal will not be a mystery.

If you plan on attending, please include in your posting how many will be in your group so we can let the diner folks know how many crazy cachers to expect. Be sure to watch this page for updates, changes, and/or announcements.

___________________________________________________________

Due to the overwhelming attendance during the past years events, and the fact that this event falls during the morning weekend breakfast rush near a major holiday, we have arranged to offer a limited menu. We have agreed to limit the breakfast to the following general entrees:

1) French Toast (Juice and Coffee) for $6.50
2) Hot Cakes (Juice and Coffee) for $6.20
3) Ham, Sausage, or Bacon w/ Eggs (Juice and Coffee) for $7.25
4) Ham, Bacon, Mushroom, or Western Omelette (Coffee) for $6.00

These prices do NOT include Tax or Gratuity…PLEASE tip your waitresses well so that they will allow these types of events to continue!
