The cache is a khaki green color. It is originally full of rainbows. If you could exchange colorful items we'd appreciate it!
The cache container is a waterproof thing we got at a surplus store. It's only waterproof if you fold it correctly as you close it, though, so please be careful. :) You *can* remove it from its hiding place by unclipping one end of the strap; return it the same way.
(Note added 3/16/04 for worrywarts: There is a house near the cache that looks for all the world like a private home, but rest assured, it is not. The building is called Rainbow House and is part of the San Jose City Parks & Rec Department. There may also be a white truck parked near the cache. It is a park maintenance truck and is usually only parked there workers are NOT nearby -- they drive it while at work. This is all public property, don't worry as you go to find the cache!!)
