Geocache Description:

This is in commemoration of the Manti Temple. Ammo can cache with laminated invitations to the dedication.

This cache is located near the Manti Temple and the temple quarry where the sandstone was mined to build the temple. I could give you lots of history of the temple but ....why don't ya'll go read the signs, plaques and visit the visitor center to really learn.Enclosed in the cache are laminated copies of an original dedication invitation in fact it is invite number 2. This invitation was given to my GGGgrandfather to attend the service. I have had three generations of family married in this Temple. I love this valley and have lots of family memories that keep bringing me home. Enjoy and remember only one invite per family please.
