This cache will bring you to
an alley behind a favorite place of ours. The bench above sits
outside the restaurant.
Funny story: The first time we
ate here, we arrived to find an ambulance parked outside. When I
first saw the bench, the words “patrons” and “ultimate sacrifice”
jumped out at me and—combined with the presence of the
ambulance—made me think the bench was dedicated to those who had
eaten here and, well, died. My wife quickly assured me that my mind
is irreversibly warped and that the bench is exactly what it is: a
suitable memorial to members of our armed services who have passed
away. She was right—on both counts. I still thought it was funny,
though, and think of it every time I pass by that bench.
Rest assured, I'm certain no
one has ever died on the premises. You’ll be searching for a camo’d
bison tube. You probably won’t need special equipment to retrieve
the cache, but nimble fingers and a little care will be necessary.
Oh, and a set of tweezers might be helpful in retrieving the log.
There will often be a lot of muggles in the area, so please use
stealth when searching. Re-hide the cache exactly as you found
it.
