Located in the UNI Biological Preserve area north of University Avenue. Cache is a camoflaged bison tube.

This part of the UNI Biological Preserves System holds fond memories for me. I remember Field Zoology classes in the preserve with Dr. Virgil Dowell, bird watching for migrating warblers, and Plant Systematics classes with Dr. Larry Eilers who would entertain us with his trade mark pronunciation of "na-a-a-a-a-nny berries." The area is quite a bit improved with a paved bike trail since my college days, but it's still a nice little wild spot in the middle of Cedar Falls.
