Geocache Description:

This is small container hidden along a pleasant walking track not far from the Springs.  Apart from the initial uphill bit it is quite level walking on a good track.

A slightly revised position for this cache has been inserted based on a second set of averages.

The initial contents of the cache are some jewellery, hence the name.

The Milles track was built when channels were installed to supply fresh water to Hobart.  The initial construction work commenced in 1831 and stone slabs were present by 1841 (these can be seen a short distance further south along the track from the cache site.  The Milles track is shown on 1875 Plan as the ‘Watercourse Track’
