Geocache Description:

Camp Cache-n-Jam geocache weekend at Deer Creek Campground
July11th,12, and 13th.

Come enjoy a great geocache weekend at Deer Creek Campground on
July 11th, 12th and 13th. This is a 3 day event. Check in Friday
July 11th after noon. Check out Sunday July 13th by 1pm.

****PLEASE CHECKIN IN AT OFFICE DESK BEFORE SETTING UP IN GROUP

Deer Creek Campground has: SHOWERS! Flush toilets! Playground. Mini
Golf. Spring fed pond. Campstore.

Rates for group site are:
$10 for one night per person
$18 for whole weekend per person
$5 Extra per night for trailer/rv water and elec hook-up(price per
hook-up not #of people in rv/trailer. Contact Deer Creek for
reservations on these sites.)

*****Reservations are requested for tent and rv/campers. Deer Creek
would like to keep a running total for their records.

Planed events:

1. Friday July 11th: Check-in, set-up and place a cache. We have
free range of the campground this week-end(within reason). Bring a
cache to hide. Hide one you've been thinking about for a while.
Hide a tricky one, or an easy one. It's your choice. Be sure to
turn your coordinates in to me.


----CITO Activites---
As a big thank you to Deercreek Campground, we will be doing "Cache In, Trash Out" for them. As you check in, please indicate if you want to participate in this portion. We have the oppertunity to get into areas of the park not normaly visited. As you are are out Hiding caches on Friday, Pick up any trash you see. Keep your eyes out for an interesting piece of trash. Submit it to me and one lucky Item will be chosen for "the Trash Cache" to be hidden for Saturdays hunt. If you do accidently bump into someones cache, do not move it or write on the log until saturdays hunt. Friday Night

2. Friday night July 11th: Fireside chat at dusk. There is a large
fire pit that I will keep going for an evening meet and greet.

***Kids Activitis Friday night July 11th: 8:00pm until at least
dark. Mister Greenthumb and OPPS5 are planning kids activities for
Friday night. When you sign up please note the number of kids in
your party and their ages and first name so they can plan
appropritley. Their tentative plans are....games, a cache hidden by
the kids for the adults to find that will have a fun twist and
possibly some night caches for kids only Friday night. This way the
don't get trampled by the "BIG KIDS" on Satruday night. He is also
working on spooky Campfire stories.

3. Sat. July 12th: Last call for caches at 9:00 am. I will try to
have the cache list ready by 10:00am. Then Caching begins.

4. Sat. Night July 12th: 7:00pm to 11:00pm: This is the change-up
this year. KARAOKE!!!!! Jack Damage was not able to attend this
year. They will be missed but.....this year we have a great
oppertunity provided by Deer Creek to entertain ourselves.
KARAOKE!!! DON'T BE SHY.

Sunday July 13th: Collect you caches and check-out by 1:00pm

If you plan on attending, please let me know how many are in your
party so I can give the campground a heads-up.

site reservations yourself. ***

Kids activites will begin at 8:00pm on Fiday night with Mr. Greenthumb.

The will be no drawing for prizes on Friday night. Instead it will all be done at 10:00 am just before the hunt begins to include more people.

Compliments of MiFlashHunter there will be a "must find" 7 part multi-cache. It is being planned as a night cache. Brush up on your "Wizard of Oz" knowledge. You never know what you will find at the end of this rainbow.
