The Viking Longship crashed into the wood pile; but a drakkar still lurks near Brushy Creek.
The longboat sailed
To dreamtime seas
But still this 'drakkar'
Hopes to please
Do take care
With this geo-beast
Don't want it victim
Of muggle feast!!!
Djálfrmarr Drakar -- "steed of the sea" "dragon" Shall we say. The original placement reminded me of a longboat prow... but dead wood falls over. It was relocated to a more LIVEly location -- which snapped off, and parts of the container went missing (geocoin to anyone who finds and returns that bottom half of a black bison... it must still be there on the ground -- but I digress). So now a new "Texas"-style "dragon" is perched in an even more LIVEly location. Have a care with find and replacement, please. And sign small.
Micro container, shaped to please -- bring your own pen. Happy hunting!
NOTE: if you choose to approach from down below (Hairy Man Road), park in the pull out toward the end of the Brushy Creek hike and bike trail and take the TRAIL up to GZ -- not the gravel No Tresspassing road. The dirt trail (a real trail, not a game or geo-route) will lead to a paved trail. Us? We tend to come in from the neighborhood MUD park above. But whatever works! 6 of one, half dozen of another, as my Mama sez. CONGRATS FTF: GeoMire May 23, 2006
