Kastiel a park vo Svatom Antone
Barokovo-klasicistický kastiel je dominantnou obce vo Svatom Antone, uprostred malebných Stiavnickych vrchov. Bol postavaný na mieste bývalého malého zámocku, spomínaného uz v 15. storocí a pocas svojej histórie presiel viacerými významnými stavebnými úpravami. História kastiela je úzko spojená s dvoma významnými rodmi: významným uhorským rodom Koháryovcov a nemeckým slachtickým rodom Coburgovcov. Posledný z rodu, kto navstevoval a istý cas aj obýval kastiel, bol bývalý bulharský cár Ferdinand Maximilián Karol Leopold Mária Coburg, uznávaný aj ako ornitológ a botanik.
Dnes je kastiel zaujímavý predovsetkým svojim interiérom a velmi bohatými zbierkami umelecko-historických a polovníckych exponátov umiestnených v múzeu, ktoré sa nachádza priamo v kastieli. Kazdá miestonst, kazdá sála je prehliadkou rozmanitosti a preciznosti umelecko--remeselných stýlov doby, v ktorej vznikli. Svojou kvalitou a dokonalostou prekvapujú aj dobové predmety dennej potreby. Ku kastielu vsak patrí aj nádherný upravený park a lesopark, dalej sýpka, skleník, dve hospodárske budovy a malá kaplnka pri ceste.
Avsak nech je minulost, pritomnost ci buducnost tohto kastiela, je známy taktiez kvoli legende, ze v tejto stavbe je ukrytá symbolika roka - kalendára: 4 vchody/krídla ako 4 rocné obdobia, 12 komínov ako 12 mesiacov, 52 izieb ako pocet tyzdnov, 7 arkád ako 7 dní v týždni a symbolika 365 okien, ako 35 dní...
Ak budete chciet kastiel navstívit, overte si prosím otváracie hodiny na prilozenom obrázku. Kvoli pokladu si vsak doprajte peknu prechádzku po parku. Cache sa nachádza na hraniciach parku, prejdite starou uzkou cestickou, ktorú pri vyberaní pokladu vobec nemusíte opustit - a uz vobec nie preskakovat cez potok... Staci sa len na cesticke uklonit pred "velicenstvom"...
Svaty Anton manor-house and park
The manor-house is situated on the place of a small castle mentioned in the 15th century. At the end of the 16th century due to the threat of Turkish raids it was rebuilt under the supervision Giulio Ferrari. And it has been rebuild also in the 18th and later again in the 19th century. The manor-house has been owned by Hungarian family Kohary (famous Stephan II) but it also belonged to the Coburgs: Ferdinand Coburg became the founder of the Bulgarian ruling dynasty of the Coburgs since 1887 and he reigned in 1908 til 1918 as the Tsar. As he had to leave Bulgaria after WWI, he stayed for some time also in Svaty Anton.
Today you can visit and admire the large museum within the manor-house: the beautiful Golden Salon, the great interior decoration of the Mirror Salon, the hand painted covering on a wall of the Emperor's Salon, the most richly decorated space of the manor-house - the Chapel, the unique table in the working room of Tsar Ferdinand I, the hunting gallery and you should not miss a nice walk in the large and beautiful adjacent park.
Well, whatever may the past, present and future of the manor-house be - in first line it is known for the great legend, which says that manor-house construction hid year's calendar symbolism: 4 wings symbolized 4 seasons, 12 chimneys as 12 months, 52 rooms as 52 weeks, 7 arcades as 7 days of a week and 365 windows as 365 days...
If you like to visit the manor-house, please check the picture with the opening hours. For the cache however, you should enjoy the nice walk in the park. The treasure is placed on the border of the park, take an old and narrow path, to pick up the cache, you don't need to leave the path - you do not need to jump over the creek. Standing on the path just take a bow in the front of "the Majesty"...
