Welcome to SASKATCHEWAN’S FIRST CHALLENGE CACHE. Like challenge caches everywhere, there are many components. Read carefully and start planning your adventures!

The CHALLENGE is to find a cache containing at least one of the numbers above in the cache name (not in the GC#), so that in the end you will have found 15 caches; the 14 numbers from 13-0 plus the final cache. Sounds simple eh? Well this puzzle cache is designed as a tribute to the puzzle creators of Saskatchewan. This puzzle like so many others should confuse, confound and perhaps even obfuscate. Cache, find 14 numbers, create and publish a bookmark and you will be finished, after you get to the final cache!

All cache types can count including Event caches. BUT … They must be in Saskatchewan and logged by you after March 30, 2008. The logs must be for your first visit to the cache.

Read carefully for further details and if you are among the first 3 cachers to complete the challenge, you earn an unactivated coin. (Sorry no double winners! If you are a team, one alone can be the FTF!!) All successful cachers will receive a certificate of achievement by email.

THE SASK. CHALLENGE
1) At least TWO of your cache names need to have the numbers spelled out. There can be more than 2, if you choose. You need only clarify the two of your choice in your bookmarked list. See #2. You may use as many written numbers besides the two as you would like.

Examples:
a) "Central Park- The Little One” or our province’s oldest- “Sask-Cache-One”. (Created July 1, 2001).

b) Caches using ordinal numbers (First, 2nd etc) with names such as "Saskatoon’s 1st Mystery Cache” or “Third Meridian – TCDNSK” count.

c) Caches with foreign numbers in their name, such as: Deux or Quattro count (if the number/language can be verified by you). Place this information in your bookmark.

d) You may use a cache name that has a number within a word but is itself not a number, such as "Canine Cache" or "Weight 4 It: 2 the Valley View", but only ONE of the two spelled out number caches can be like this.

e) Caches using Roman numerals can be used; however, they do not count as spelled out numbers. See “Keiko’s Cache II” for an example.

2) You will need to create a public "The Sask. Challenge Cache" bookmark that will include fifteen cache names - one for the final cache and one for each of the fourteen caches you've found. On each of the fourteen, please put the number that cache represents and the date of the find. For each of the TWO caches that have the number(s) spelled out in the cache name, please spell the number out on your bookmark.

3) If a cache name has more than one number, such as: “Happy New Year 2008” or “Stop Sixty-Two” or “PS Moosejaw 210 #3”, you can choose which number (and only one number) to use for your Challenge bookmark list. (Please note which one on your bookmark list). To clarify any potential obfuscation, in 2008 for example, you may choose the number 0, 2 or 8 and note this in your bookmark.

4) ALL of your cache finds must be within Saskatchewan and must have been found on or after March 30, 2008. You cannot use caches previously visited. Your bookmarked list must include caches created by at least 4 different cachers. Please keep it published for at least 3 months to help others.

5) Logs without completing the Challenge requirements or without a bookmarked list will be regretfully deleted. The final cache coordinates are emailed to each successful cacher who completes all elements.

The final is not at the coordinates listed above!

Did you know that you have more than 140 caches to choose from with numbers?? Congratulations to the creator of the province’s first cache Donovano, at GC14F which includes the number 1.

Once you complete your list, post a note and your bookmarks to this cache page for final approval. Then you will receive by email the coordinates for the final cache. The posted coordinates are not correct. They are within a few kilometers of the cache site.

Container is a lock n lock with a log , pencil & treats for the taking including 1 small unactivated coin for the next 3 finders. The first 3 all have received a full size coin.
