Welcome to Woodburn! This is quite possibly the oddest town on the face of the planet, and I had to grow up here. To find this cache, you have to go to two very different places to gather information leading you to the final coordinates.
First Waypoint
N 45 08.597
W 122 51.423
The tienda here has two exposed sides (South and East) with paintings on them. Add up all the coyotes and call this number A.
Then, you must go inside this place. Seriously. You don't have to actually buy anything, but check it out anyway. If you speak spanish, pan dulce is four for a buck. If not, then it could be as high as 70 cents. The last time i went in, i was charged 45 cents because i mispronounced 'cuanto cuesta.'
Second Waypoint
N 45 06.433
W 122 51.283
You know how when you go to Vienna or Kentucky or somewhere else exotic and the buildings have those huge things on the top that look like garlic cloves? What the heck are those things called? Anyway, this building has several gold-colored ones. Add them up and call this number B. And check out that mural. What's with all those saints? Don't get too close to this building. Unlike the first waypoint, we're not welcome to go inside. I've seen many an angry babushka in this neighborhood.
Let's do some math:
B-A=Z
A-1=Y
B+A=X
A+A=N
A-A=W
Final Waypoint
N 45 06.ZYX
W 122 56.WNX
The final location is closed at dusk. It's an easy 1/4 mile walk except for all the mud and standing water. If you go between October 1 and March 1, it's more like 9/10 of a mile. Don't go during pheasant hunting season or during special events to avoid buckshot. Bring boots and mosquito repellant. There are many different ways to walk to the cache site. The final 20 feet or so are not on any established trail. All three waypoints are within ten miles of eachother. Cache container is a 30cal ammo box. Viva la Pan Dulce Babushka.
