Easy but very interesting find.
Be aware that the cache is beside the main highway so park well
clear of it. There is a sculpture in progress using local granite,
which will take approximately 1 year to complete. Take a break and
have a good look around at other local features.
Opening 17/4/2009

[view this log] | September 21 by WanderingAus (1633 found) WanderingAus wandered by on day 110 of a "climatic refugee" trip, and made a very easy GAFF 1 find. The WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) was sure we must have just not noticed the sculpture, she distintly remembered buying "That's Life' at the Kyancutta store at the end of October last year. I was sure I wouldn't have missed this cache, so I was pretty confident we hadn't been past here since the work on the sculpture began. After we stopped for the night she pulled out the journal from last year, and found the entry "dropped into Streaky Bay". It turned out the magazine had been bought in 2006, but her memory of the dunny's at Kyancutta were still vivid. My find No 1903, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again. *Recommended* *Overall Experience: 3* T4TH InTheNews Keith
