This is a tribute cache to my Aunt Lynn and Uncle Larry (LarryandLynn geocache name) who first told me about geocaching. Their enthusiasm was contagious…after a few phone conversations I purchased a GPS. Skeeter and I set out on our first cache April of 2004. Our first find was in Pinicon Ridge Park. We have had the bug ever since.
I’ve placed this cache in a new hiking area of Pinicon Ridge Park. I’ve listed parking coordinates since this area is newer and this park keeps getting bigger and bigger. The cache will be located right off the trail.
I know Uncle Larry and Lynn will love this cache. Aunt Lynn will love the song birds, plants, trees, and flowers. Uncle Larry will love the fact it takes you to a new area that a lot people don’t know about. They will both love that it’s fairly easy to find.
My other goal with this cache is entice my Aunt and Uncle to come visit. They live in Columbia, South Carolina. I’ve been trying to get my Uncle Larry to visit for years.
