Geocache Description:

Cache is placed along the historic Santa Fe, Oregon, and California Trails.

Placed in cooperation with the Santa Fe Trail Association, the Mahaffie Foundation, and 3-Trails West Inc. This is a wonderful family oriented site so bring the kids and grandparents for a wonderful living history lesson. Don't forget to tell the folks inside you found the cache!

Cache is a plastic tub containing historic brochures, fossil bison tooth, compass, and donated trail theme kids toys from the site. When hunting, please keep in mind the cache is placed at a Historic Site (no digging etc. required). At times, there may be a lot of people around so be discrete and please hide the cache thoroughly. The facility has requested that cache seekers do not enter the fenced grounds after hours (not required to find the cache). Thank you and enjoy your visit!
