How Geocaching Works
This is the “back yard” of Boy Scout Troop 270’s meeting place. T270 is just starting to learn about Geocaching. I hope you enjoy the cache and the park.
This cache is located in North Ridge Park in Coralville.
Parking is available near N41º41.626 W91º35.588. At those coordinates, there is an informational plaque highlighting some interesting aspects of the park. Take a moment to stop and read.
When you take the path down the hill, turn left for a bit, you will see on your left another sign. (Thanks Jimmie G.)
The rest of your search should be pretty straightforward. Have a nice walk and take a moment to enjoy the park.
T270 has the original FTF. bah08 placed a cache here in fall 2008 when he first introduced Geocaching to them. They have since purchaced a GPS, and have enjoyed the sport on several camp-outs.
Note: PLEASE replace container so it's not visible. We're trying to keep muggles at bay.
Permission and permit on file with Coralville Parks and Rec.
