PLEASE park legally and WALK to this cache. If you can't walk the distance, please ignore this cache rather than parking where you shouldn't. We want people to respect geocachers.
As you walk along this 0.8 mile long nature trail, make sure to read the interpretive signs. They give you a lot of information about the area and the wildlife that you might see. This cache is found near where two trails converge. You will have to go off the Black Forest Trail just slightly.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Rob Wessberg of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at http://dnr.wi.gov/files/pdf/forms/2500/2500-118.pdf
You are looking for an ammo box. I don't think you'll have any problems finding this one.
The "related web page" link at the top of this listing will provide you with a printable map of the trails at Pike Lake.
Enjoy the walk!
