Geocache Description:

1 of about 8 that I will be placing at the former Loring Air Force Base . This one is located just off the parking lot at the west gate entrance at the former Loring Air Force Base, now the Loring Commerce Center

For many years you would have never been allowed to walk here but after the base closing in 1994 the entire base was taken over by the town of Limestone and now is called the Loring Comerce Center. Many military buildings are long gone and most all of the ones that remain house new buisness. Some of the base housing is still there and houses several hundered people.
