Geocache Description:

Along the American Tobacco Trail, near US Army Corps of Engineers Survey Marker 6517.

Park at N 35 53.675 W 78 57.212.

Find the old train track rails pieces which have been paved over on the north-west side of the road.

Orient to the direction of the train tracks had travelled, and go NNW along the American Tobacco Trail to US Army Core of Engineers Survey marker 6517 at N35 53.739 W78 57.251. (For details of this marker, see Marker 6517 on waymarking.com

Using your compass, find bearing ~105 deg. (slightly S of E).
Walk straight along this bearing for about 165 ft. and you too will 'survey' this ammo box cache with a bright blue top at the coordinates listed for this cache.
