As the title says, this is a Social Challenge. The requirements to find this cache are to attend an event in each of the 12 months on the calendar. It is not necessary to complete the challenge in the same year, or in 12 consecutive months. Just attend a geocaching event in each of the 12 calendar months. All past events count. To show your qualification, please create a bookmark list including this cache and the 12 monthly caches you have attended. Alternately, you can list the GC code, name and date of your events, but the bookmark list is preferred.
I am aware that some do not log event caches as found. You still qualify. Include your list of events as above, as long as you logged a note for your attendance.
Not requires, but fun to hear. Please include in your log your experience at your first event.
This challenge is not meant to be difficult, and living in this area it should not be. Between L.O.S.T., B.E.S.T., GOTCHA, and YCGS, there are events nearly every week of the year.
GZ could be fairly busy on Wednesdays. Looking at a different time may be advisable.
My first event was the Geocaching4Conservancy event at Lancaster County Park. The event was the finale to the LCC's 2 week fund raiser geocaching event. There were 30 caches (unofficial) hidden on the LCC properties throughout the county. I wish they still did this fundraiser. I met many cachers that day, many of whom are still active. Some of those cachers are CCCA, Mocadeki, Lefty & Bud (who returned my hiking stick that I left at the top of the mountain in the Ferncliff preserve), geospheres, PAHawkeye, and iBrew.
