Susisuon ulkoilumaja Niittymaalla on rakennettu kaupungin 0,75 ha
vuokratontille. Maja, 71 m2, on valmistunut 1978,
majan lisäsiipi 2007 ja saunarakennus 1985. Majaa käytetään
yhdistysten kokouksien ja tapahtumien järjestämiseen.
Lisäksi majaa vuokrataan liikuntatapahtumiin, saunailtoihin
ym.
Piha-alue tulentekopaikkoineen on retkeilijöiden käytössä
veloituksetta.
Kätkön läheisyydessä on neljä maakuoppa-asuntoa.
Maakuoppa-asuntoja käyttivät Porin suurpalossa 1852 asunnottomaksi
jääneet tuhannet ihmiset jotka eivät omistaneet asuinpaikkaansa ja
joilla ei ollut varaa uusien säännösten mukaiseen rakentamiseen.
Nämä ihmispolot hakeutuivat kaupungin ulkopuolelle ja tekivät
asuntosa katettuihin maakuoppiin. Runsaassa sadassa vuodessa ovat
asuntojen puuosat maatuneet, vain kaivannot kivetyksineet ovat
säilyneet.
Kätkö on ulkomitoiltaan regular, mutta sen sisällä löytyy
micro-kokoinen kapseli lokikirjan ja kynän suojana.

The hiking cottage of Susisuo started to built 1978 and the last
building has built 2007. The owner of cottage is Porin Latu ry, the
club for hiking and cross-country skiing. The cottage is for
members of club, but the yard and campfire place are free for
everyone. Of course you must remember that you don´t disturb other
user of the place.
Near by the cache is 4 "ground hole houses". In Pori was big
fire at 1852 (almous whole town burned) and thousands of poor
people couldn´t build new houses with new instructions. So they
have to move out of the city and dig a hole and put he roof on it.
The wooden parts have roted during over 100 years, but the holes
are still there.
The cache is regular size, but the log and pen are in micro size
plastic tube.
