Geocache Description:

When you walk north along Farringdon Street on the west side you pass under the Viaduct it seems rather grubby.

Its difficult to believe that you are walking the course of the now subterranean River Fleet and that there was a Royal Procession under the bridge in 1869.

This fine piece of urban is engineering is rampant with figures representing Arts, Science, Letters etc. Two thousand Londons where made homeless when it was built.

There are various doorways and gates built into the side of the bridge and its in one of them that I have secreted a 35mm film cannister.

Who knows what is going on behind these doors.

You will definitely need a light at night.
