2/23/06-just replaced container
My first cache placement (second try) in L.A. This cache was
formerly 'The Other Side' cache in Folsom, CA. Just moved back to
L.A. from Sacto. The cache is a short hike from the nearest
parking. Cross the USUALLY dry river and follow the old fire
road up the south wall of the canyon.(Previous location caused
havoc with my GPS, as I got a different reading every time I
went back!) The actual Lang Station rail siding is a 1/2 mile
NW, and was the meeting place of the Central Pacific L.A. to
S.F. rail line on Sept 5, 1876 with a ceremonial golden spike
being driven. (See link below) Anyway, when placed, the 8 inch
diameter Tupperware cache contained:
- Poo-Chi toy
- Band-Aids
- Carabiner Clip
- NY and RI state quarters
- Grateful Dead pin
- 'Way To Go' button
- Sacagawea Dollar Travel Bug
