Geocache Description:

This is a very easy drive-up cache, the purpose of which is to bring cachers to a location they might otherwise miss or miss the significance of. Park in the ground zero 5-minute parking or in the longer parking around the corner.

The discussion goes that a cache should either be a good hide (this isn't, be forewarned) or bring cachers to a place they might not find on their own.

Tom Hanks filmed The Road to Perdition in Dundee back in 2000 or 2001 (and, to be accurate, in some other suburbs as well like Geneva and Kankakee). I remember it because some people I know met him at the time and said he was a really great person to meet. There is a longer story, but no one wants to hear a 3rd hand celeb story, so I will leave it at that.

You might not otherwise know that the the Road to Hell was Rte 72 through Dundee, but here it is. This is your opportunity to take snapshots of yourself on the Road to Hell, and to send them to buddies or relatives who always mentioned that you would find yourself on that road. Myself, I thought Rte 72 through Dundee was the Road to MY HOUSE and I hope that is just a coincidence. You will also see that it is NOT paved with good intentions, just regular asphalt.

Cache info -- This is a cheesy operation so bring your own pen. Parking is at ground zero, but limited to 5 MINUTES (for the cleaners, I think). This should be about 3 minutes more than you need if your GPS is circa 2000 or later. I suggest you drive about 100 feet further and park in the general Dundee lot and take in the river walk, the great restaurants, the candy store, etc.

Warning --hint is a spoiler/giveaway.
