This is a multi-location cache. You'll need to follow the instructions to collect information to find the final location on San Juan Island.
Go to N48 30.954 / W123 9.143 and find the date when the building at this coordinate was established. This date will be the value of "A".
Then go to N48 35.081 / W123 8.ZZZ where ZZZ = 2559 - A. This will be several miles from the first location.
You will find a trailhead at this new coordinate.
Follow the trail to N48 35.0YY / W123 8.XXX, where YY = A - 1887, and where XXX = the number of southern resident orca pods seen in the San Juan Islands + 232.
That's where you'll find the cache (a rubbermaid container).
The best time to look for the cache is near sunset. Be ready for a great view. Please report on the cache conditions since the cache creator is off-island.
