For those planning on attending the Meet and Greet it is VERY important that you please post a will attend so we will have an idea of how many folks for the restaurant.

For those planning on staying for the whole weekend of fun there are plenty of lodging choices in the area in the nearby towns of Bryson City, Robbinsville, Andrews and Murphy but this time of year the rooms book up quick on the weekends so you will want to plan ahead and make your reservations asap!
There are plenty of good geocaches to be found in the area also!

After the Saturday morning Meet and Greet event several of us will be getting together for a whitewater trip down the Nantahala River. Anyone wanting to join in on the ride is welcome! For those who are timid about going or with less whitewater experence, there will be more than a few folks that have been on this trip before with plenty of experence to help out! If you do plan on doing the river trip then you will need to make reservations to join us, Here is the info you will need............ Reservations for the whitewater rafting trip need to be made ASAP. Nantahala Outdoor Center (888) 905-7238. All the information including contact numbers, rafting rates and rules of the river trip can be found here, http://www.noc.com/river_nantahala.html
