The cache is a camo'd plastic container.
I really like hiking in the desert for the simple reason that you
can see what’s around you for longer distances. Because of the
Sayre fire all the brush that used to hide things just off the
trail is now gone. I’ve been to this spot many times and never knew
that these guardrail holders that are use throughout the park were
ever here. I’m sure by the way that they are placed the people that
put them here never thought they anyone would seen them either.
This cache is to replace my “What To Do?” cache that was destroyed
in the Sayre fire. I never really like the photo that I put on that
cache page anyway!

August 12 by Damocles25 (192 found) got away for a quick hike in this area but was quickly blocked by bulldosers... I kid you not... two of then to be exact. I guess they wanted to get the point accross in case you decided the signs didn't apply to you. Luckly the cache was very close by and made the find, took a picture and am now posting it for your viewing pleasure... Why would you need such large equipment in the first place.. perhaps a new mall in the middle of the park?
