Geocache Description:

The best part of hunting for a cache is at the end, when you are experiencing the smile of satisfaction from actually holding it right in your hands!

This is a micro of the “in plain sight” variety. You can park at the following coordinates. N 43° 44.857 W 070° 26.830, off of Rt. 237. (Shaw Park)

A Cache in the Hand maybe found either by hiking along the trail or by kayak or canoe, although you will need to climb the short bank to retrieve the cache if you approach from the water. For those traveling by land, your GPSr will lead you on a trail through the woods. Follow the trail across the railroad tracks. You'll take a right shortly after reentering the woods, where the loggers have been. Keep going towards the water. The cache is in plain sight. The cache is winter friendly, and should be able to be found even with snow on the ground You may want to use snowshoes with deep snow.

Please use care when retrieving the cache and replacing it. Be sure to bring a pen or pencil.
