In order to find this bonus, you must find all other six caches in
the Puzzle Classics series and make a note of the number
inside the logbook. The cache can be found at:
N51° AB.(C+100) W003° DE.F
The sum of the final co-ordinates should equal 42 and will be
within 1 mile of the listed co-ordinates.
How to solve the puzzles:
Codebreaker (GC1D564)
Codebreakers are similar to crosswords, but they have no
clues! Instead, each letter of the alphabet is replaced by a
number; the same number represents the same letter throughout the
puzzle. To start off, three letters are entered in the grid next to
their appropriate number. Once these letters have been filled in,
the solver can begin to start guessing words and other letters.
Crusadex (GC1D8R8)
Crusadex, or fill-in crosswords, are similar to
jigsaws, in that the 'blocks' of words must be fitted into the
blank grid to form a completed crossword. Only the 'across' clues
are given to make the puzzle more challenging.
Kriss Kross (GC1D8XQ)
Fit the numbers into the grid. Simple!
Skeleton (GC1D6J3)
Also known as diagramless, or carte blanche, skeleton
crosswords offers a grid with overall dimensions, but most clue
numbers and black squares are not specified. As well as solving the
clues like a normal crossword, the solver must also deduce the
location of the black squares. The final solution will resemble a
normal crossword, including some level of symmetry.
Sudoku (GC1D5QH)
The solver must fill in the game board so that the numbers 1
through 9 occur exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 box. The
numbers can appear in any order and diagonals are not considered.
Your initial game board will consist of several numbers that are
already placed. Those numbers cannot be changed. Your goal is to
fill in the empty squares following the simple rule above.
Word Search (GC1D5N1)
Perhaps the simplest word-based puzzle, the solver must find the
words in the given list within the grid. Sometimes secret messages
are hidden within the grid...
