Near Munds Park area. Must have at least a high clearance 4WD on parts of this road.(We used ATVs) Come from the I-17 side NOT the 89A side! (Update: It looks like a few courageous hikers have reached the cache from the 89A side. Not me!)
Cache is hidden at the end of a very rough dirt road with lots of ruts and rocks. We ride ATVs there often but it will be a rough ride for most SUVs. It's well worth the trip though. This trail ends at a great view of part of Oak Creek Canyon that isn't commonly seen from this vantage point. I rated the terrain as 3.5 but once you make the drive there isn't much hiking involved. You can park less than 100 feet away. When looking for the cache you don't need to go too close to the cliff so stay back and be careful with the kids.
